Hi!
I’m Huixin (“Hoo-SHEEN”), a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) helping people feel like themselves again.
APPOINTMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
1 - Please arrive wearing a loose t-shirt, loose sweatpants, and socks.
2 - From the parking lot, the main doors of 8787 Woodbine Avenue are beside LifeLabs. Our studio is in Suite 222 on the 2nd floor, inside Woodbine Foot Clinic. Please arrive just a few minutes prior to your appointment time to help us prevent crowding in our clinic space.
3 - Please use the 2nd floor washrooms prior to arrival as needed. Entry codes are as follows: Women’s = 2, 3, 5, ENTER; Men’s = 1, 2, 4, ENTER
4 - If you are greeted by the Woodbine Foot Clinic receptionist, let them know you are here to see the RMT and have a seat in the waiting area.
5 - Please remove your shoes and use hand sanitizer upon entering the treatment room, and wear a new / clean, well-fitting mask that covers your nose, mouth and chin during your treatment. DURING THE WINTER: Please remove your shoes upon entering Woodbine Foot Clinic to help protect their floors from salt and moisture.
6 - Upon booking your FIRST appointment, please complete the online Health History Form as soon as possible. Completing this form is mandatory to secure your appointment and to receive treatment. Existing patients will be prompted to update this form annually prior to an upcoming appointment.
7 - Prior to EVERY appointment, please review the COVID-19 Patient Screening Questions sent to your email. Please ensure that you would screen NEGATIVE upon arriving to your appointment. If in doubt, please cancel your appointment immediately and reschedule accordingly.
8 - Please be reminded that per the signed cancellation policy, full cancellation fees apply for missed appointments and appointment cancellations / changes made within 24 hours of the appointment time, including for reasons of unexpected illness and emergencies.
Cancellation & Missed / Late Appointment Policy
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation / rescheduling or missed appointment leaves a hole in the therapist’s day that, with adequate notice, could have been filled by another patient, especially those on the wait list. As such, we require 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Please be advised that appointments booked less than 24 hours prior to their start times automatically fall within this late cancellation period.
If a patient is unable to provide the minimum 24-hour cancellation notice or misses their appointment for ANY reason (including unexpected illness and emergencies), a cancellation fee that is equal to the full treatment fee will be charged to the credit card on file, no exceptions.
Any reason is a good enough reason to cancel if you need to, and the fee is not a punishment for the patient but a necessity to protect the therapist’s time. Please consider booking an appointment like purchasing a ticket to an event, flight, or accommodation, where one is responsible to any costs if they are unable to attend. If in doubt, please reschedule ahead of time.
Please note that cancellation fees are typically not eligible for insurance reimbursement. As well, arriving late to your appointment will not result in additional time added or fees being reduced.
Thank you for respecting your therapist’s time!
